Programs electronic equipment as needed throughout the plant. Keeps the maintenance lap top computer up to date with the latest software needed to program electronic equipment in the plant. Repairs electronic equipment and/or sends electronic equipment to outside vendors for repair.? Performs maintenance, repair, overhaul, adjustments and installation of plant machinery as necessary to maintain optimum safety, quality and production requirements. Will perform other related duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Frequency \u2013 Amount \u2013 Description.)


Ability to stand and walk continuously during an eight 8 hour shift.


Ability to sit on powered industrial equipment, floor or stool for short period of time while performing maintenance type work.

Ability to sit at repair table while repairing/testing electronic equipment as much as seven 7 hours in an eight 8 hour shift.


Moves throughout buildings and grounds as needed during an eight (8) hour shift.


Must have the ability to climb all types of steps and ladders as required to complete assigned task. ?May be required to climb to the top of seventy two 72 foot silo to do repairs.

MOVING (MATERIALS): (Lifting \u2013 carrying \u2013 pushing \u2013 pulling)

Pushing/pulling \u2013 ?Must have the ability to push/pull wenches and other hand tools repetitively throughout an eight 8 hour shift.? Push any movable type equipment.? Get help when needed.

Lifting-carrying \u2013 Must have the ability to lift plant equipment weighing up to fifty ? 50 pounds without mechanical assistance.? Get help when needed.


Must be able to communicate with co-workers and management as needed to perform job duties.


Vertical- Ability to reach up to full arm extension when performing breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance or other job duties.

Horizontal- Ability to reach up to full arm extension when performing breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance or other job duties.? Ability to lie on floor and reach overhead up to full arm extension when performing breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance or other job duties.


Must have adequate normal, color vision and depth perception to perform job duties.? Ability to utilize both near and far vision while performing job duties.? Ability to see small openings and parts when disassembling and reassembling plant equipment.


Ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel as needed to perform job duties.? Ability to crouch, kneel, bend at waist and assume awkward positions when performing breakdown repairs, preventive maintenance or other job duties.


Ability to make decisions regarding work priorities.

Ability to read forms and documents.

Ability to use computer.

Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.

Ability to obtain license and operate powered industrial equipment.




Diploma/certificate/experience in: Electronics, AC/DC to 600 volts, blue print and schematics must have the necessary computer skills.

Preferred: Experience in welding, cutting, metal working, steam, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.


Must be able to work assigned schedule.? Must be self motivated.? Must have the ability to trouble shoot; electronics, steam, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems.? Must be able to obtain a powered industrial equipment license.? Ability to legibly fill out forms/check sheets.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
