Herbicide Sprayer / Pesticide Applicator with DL

We are currently seeking a Herbicide Sprayer / Pesticide Applicator to join our team.
Essential Functions
Applies chemical herbicide and/or pesticide to right-of-way following brush removal, utilizing hose and spray nozzle from truck-mounted spray equipment, which includes tank, pump, hose reel, 200 feet of 5/8 inch hose, and/or utilizing a backpack in remote areas.
Services truck and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order.
Mixes herbicide in holding tank and fills injection tubes or assists spray crew Foreperson with mixing herbicide and filling tank.
Drives truck to specified areas where trees require treatment. Unloads injector pack and tools from truck.
Pulls wheeled cart (dolly) carrying injection unit into areas of brush to treat trees.
Operates a small power drill, which weighs less than 10 pounds. Drills holes into base of trees, places a probe from the chemical injector tank into the hole, and switches on the injector to treat trees.
Works around hazardous equipment
Works in all temperatures and weather and will be exposed to nature, i.e., irritating plants and biting or stinging insects, dust, etc.
Works on unlevel ground
Minimum Requirements
Must be able to wear necessary PPE as necessary.
Must obtain and maintain appropriate license(s).
Must be able to write, read and comprehend written and verbal job instructions/information.
Must be able to communicate with others.
Must be able to maintain balance over uneven terrain.
Must be able to carry backpack and hoses for several hours.
Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard eight or ten hour day.
Must have sufficient eyesight to judge distances and coordination to spray proper area.
Must be able to operate and service all required tools and equipment.
Must have transportation to and from the show up location.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must pass a background / MVR check.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
