  • Determine job priority with assistance of supervisor, if needed

  • Makes required checks/test on plant equipment at start of shift and makes repairs and adjustments as needed.

  • Performs 'check list' type duties on plant equipment when required.

  • Performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment.

  • Assists in installing/relocating plant equipment.

  • Fills out and files or forward to the appropriate individual, forms and check sheets as required.

  • Repairs or adjusts plant equipment - as required.

  • Operates company vehicle - as needed.

  • Completes work orders - as needed.

  • Follows all written procedures when performing lockout/tagout, changing batteries, change propane tank on powered industrial truck and filling propane tank.

  • Works safely and orderly.

  • Reports any hazardous or unsafe conditions to shift supervisor.

  • Maintains clean and safe housekeeping practices in work area.

  • Performs all necessary miscellaneous work pertaining to the above duties.

  • Performs any other duties assigned by management.


  • Must? be able to read and write standard English.

  • AC/DC to 600 volts, basic electronics, computer skills, blue print and schematics. Must be certified in 600 volt.

  • Experience in welding, cutting, metal working, steam, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.

  • Must be able to pass welding test and hot work training.

  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime and shutdowns as required.

  • Must be able to work all shifts, and legibly fill out forms/check sheets.

  • Must be self motivated.

  • Must have the ability to troubleshoot, steam, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • Must be able to obtain a powered industrial equipment license.?

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods of time.

  • Must work in 90 degree plus temperatures and around equipment that may exceed 500 degrees.

  • Must be able to do heavy lifting on a regular basis (up to 75 pounds).

  • Must be able to work form ladders and aerial lifts.

  • Must be able to obtain aerial lift license and work at heights greater than 40 ft.

  • Must be experienced in the operation of powered industrial equipment, hand tools, power tools, metal working tools, ladders, buffers, gauges and precision measuring instruments.

  • Must be able to work with machine parts, manuals, metal, welder, torch, lubricants, and chemicals.

  • Must pass and maintain CPR/AED & first aid certificate as required.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
